Lover's Angst

In the grand scheme of things..humans spend ample amounts of time trying to figure out themselves as well as their surroundings. Going through this great “adventure” of life wondering if they could possibly be perceived as ‘normal’ or socially acceptable. Attempting to pursue their youth and revel in ignorance, but only enough towards where their present sins won’t deprive them their admission to Heaven. —ahhh, the balance between caution and impulsiveness seems ever so thin doesn’t it? Moreover, happiness is another task, how do you remain happy?..and something that is even more taxing on the brain is what do you do when you want to feel absolutely nothing? What do you do when you’ve gotten to the point that you’re fearful of being happy because it’s always taken from you?..and you certainly don’t want to feel sadness…so you’re forced to find things to soothe you to the point of numbness. But why would one want to feel numb? pain is a sign you’re still ALIVE..isn’t it? —-oh LIFE, how treacherous and deceiving must you be?…
